Hi CHaps

Iv owned a civic type R for 6 years but iv been offered the chance of an Impreza MY2000 Type RA.

Iv been trying to do some research on what the car exatly is and how much its worth but im struggling.

If it is mechanically sound and does not have many cosmetic imperfections i.e. rust then I would say it would be worth around 4-4.5k max depending on pics aswell. You do not find many V6 WRX Type RAs which would be a bonus and therefore allow you to command more whenever you come to sell it.

Also what colour is it?

Regards,

Subaru Collector 555.

Yeah it's a WRX RA. It says on the dash there was only 1000 made.

It's in the normal blue, not dark blue. Condition wise is fantastic. For a 2000 it's one of the cleanest cars if seen. The only light rust is around the rear arches but I would get that sorted.

That little bit of rust isn't as easy to fix as you might think lol. All classics have it to some extent unless it being sorted early on.

It might be a lot worse underneath that little bit of surface rust as the arches usually rot from the inside out. Just make sure a good job is done repairing it otherwise it will only come back later. I would make the owner aware of my concern if I was in your position in order to reduce the asking price down a tad more.

Regards,

Subaru Collector 555.
