I've not got the aluminium one but I do have one of their machined delrin items I got for less than a tenner. Maybe took a week to arrive from China? Quality's fine, but it's not genuine, no chance. Decent part though and I much prefer it to the OEM leather thing in the WRX, it just sits so much nicer in your hand.
To fit it literally is a case of unscrewing your old one and screwing the new one back in. A thirty second job.
Edited to add this link to the one I have: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3506730501...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

When I'm getting into the car at 4am when it's -10c outside the last thing I want to be grabbing is a metal ****! It looks pretty good, but the plastic one does well for me, I've used them in mates competition cars and like the feel of them as they never feel sticky or change temperature much. I'll get some pics in daylight tomorrow but I think the black blends in pretty well to everything.
