Hi guys, new to the whole scooby world just a quick question for you all.

Do I spend around £5,000 on a blob eye wrx that's had work done on it or do I get a standard wrx and do the work myself,
Aiming for the 280bhp mark.

Any responses welcome

Thanks brad

for 5k i would rather find Blob Sti. As the work you will do to it will be to get to similar power levels. Plus if you wanted to max out the standard sti turbo. its just decat, walbro, panel filter and remap.

it works out better imo.

5k will only get you a bottom end high mile blob sti, 5k wrx should be a mint with low miles.

Do the work your self . You get to no your car that way . Plus if someone has done the work & got it to 300bhp + then they have used it, if you no what I mean . Always do it your self if you can. But it's your cash up to you.

Probably find that insurance is dearer on a modded WRX than on an STi.

Assuming all mods declared, that is?
