Right this has only happened twice not sure if it was just me or somethibg is about to give when i selected 3rd its poped back out into netrual. Like i said maybe i didnt push all the way up. But if i did and it has popped out how bad is this clutch or gear box and how do i go about checking this out ??? Its a 2005 blobeye wrx standard with 65k on clock.

Worn syncro normally though check your gearbox oil level and be prepared for the worst because it could get expensive if its been left too long and caused excessive wear elsewhere.
