Subaru support @ Wiscombe hillclimb
Got myself along to Wiscombe hillclimb on Sunday to offer support to our customers that compete in the A4 road going class.
We're lucky enough to look after a fair few of the cars in that class and were happy that Steve Clarke broke the ASWMC class record on his first timed run with a 42 seconds dead.
He's added that record to the Werrington class record which he took a couple of weeks ago.
The car in question runs a Enginetuner built 2.5 engine featuring STi4 heads and cams and it's now on it's 5th year of competitive motorsport use. Supporting mods include RCM headers, a front mount intercooler and an S206 Turbo Technics turbo. It's all brought together with an Alcatek ecu supplied and mapped by ourselves with all the toys, ALS, launch, flat shift etc.
Power output is adequate
Video of one his runs.
We also look after Mike Potter of Bridge Tyres and Wheels and have been recently fettling his car for more low end grunt.
And Mark Spiller who runs a virtually standard car but for an Alcatek ecu and a cage. His little TD04 is in serious need of some help
We also carry out the tuning for Simon Neve in his Evo 6, sorry
