Just done a reg look up whilst looking for some parts and come back with this


SUBARU IMPREZA (44S) WRX TURBO AWD 5 DOOR HATCHBACK 1994cc (2001) PETROL

That is my car in question, what id like to know is what the 44s relates to?
Anyone have any info on this?

Was it a Japanese import?

Sometimes the log books have weird codes on them, which in turn feed to HPi / reg look up etc?

Is the 44S on your log book?

 

It's a U.K. car

I can't find anything on the log book that relates to this only thing stated is the GGA chassis variant. But I don't think that has any correlation to this

Done some googling and a lot of cars fitted with PPP show this how ever some don't and mine hasn't got PPP
So that's that out the question

Could be wrong but I think 44s was the name the bug eye got on launch in to the uk?

 

I think its the colour code 44 = silver.

Therefore 44S = 44 silver.

Unless its blue in which case ill get my coat
