A slightly wider wheel base from 2005 onwards, the widetrack model also gets the updated interior like the Hawkeye 2006 models plus DCCD (driver controlled diff, meaning you can move the power between front and rear wheels)

The widetrack is generally considered THE newage car to have (other than a forged hawk maybe), the better 2.0 engine with the updated interior from the newer models. Easiest way to tell, outside of the reg plate, is also the plastic moulding above the rear arches.

The widetrack models command a higher premium. I've been waiting months to find a good one, so be prepared for a wait!

If you are not bothered about the extras you get from the widetrack you could go for a 2003 or 2004 model and save a £1K-£2K.
