Default Which 16" wheels for my classic RA

So It's looking like I'll be making the move from 17" wheels down to 16's on my classic RA. This is the car as it stands now

So my question is this... What 16" wheels do you have on your classics?
Alternatively what would you reccommend for mine??

Hi Joe

Why are you going from 17" to 16" alloys?

Your current alloys would be my choice but if you fancy a change what about the same but in black??

I should have said that I've got the Enkei RPF1 in mind, I really like them.
I'm going to 16's because the car feels so much better to drive on them. Better ride, more direct. I think classics feel quite lathargic on the 17's in comparison.

Rpf1 is still a nice choice and probably the lightest of them all, but the rim would make the wheels look small with the rest of the spokes that are left IMO, they suit certain cars but I think a full spoke to the edge of rim would look a lot better on a Subaru, hence I suggested PF01 (proper nice wheel that suits most)

The rays te37's can be had for little money these days and are super lightweight.
With them being affordable I can get a couple of sets to put my track tyres on.

I applaud you sir. Too many folks destroying their ride/handling with big wheels on classics just for the pose value.

Pedant alert but my understanding is Speedline didn't make the ST-2 in 16". The 16" model is the Preo-R which looks a lot like the larger ST-2.

I have the Preo-Rs and TE37s and tbh although the Rays are lighter I couldn't tell the difference on the road.

I have 16" Advan RG's in gold on my STI RA. They are crazy light.

The advan RG's are another favourite of mine, one thing we do need to bear in mind is brake clearances. I will be running either a ap 4 pt 304mm kit or a Ksport 6 pot 304mm kit.

You can get the revolution millenniums in 16" however they are 8 inches wide, which is too much.
