How come when I was probably one of the first in the uk to put a deposit down on a WR Blue sti in January, mine isn't due till last weekend of this month?

Is it because of the colour?

Seen my first new shape STi today on the M40, was wr blue with gey/silver wheels, didnt look to bad to be honest, didnt look as wide as the hatch or last model saloon, but I reckon with a front splitter and slightly lower it will look quite nice!!!

I'm undecided to go WR Blue or Satin White

Everyone North of Watford has to drive to Stan Palmer's on the Scottish border if they want to see one.

I'm not too sure. I am aware other dealers have been receiving there orders already. I can only go off what our system tells us.

Everyone seems to be ordering blue, you could go white and save the £500 for the second year road tax

Mangoletsi have been nothing short of superb during my ownership of the Cosworth.

I was being a little facetious with my reply above, the North is quite a big place.

I know Crossroads in the Midlands have some in at the moment - they have their fan club - but I would wait for Stan Palmer or Mangoletsi to get a demo car in and take it from there. We should start seeing them out and about in the next few weeks!

To be honest, it's just smacked me in the face this week that I MUST have been one of the first to step-up and get my order in (slapping a large deposit down) yet I haven't got mine? And it's not due till the 30th?!?

Is there actually ANY co-ordination from Subaru to get customers their cars roughly in the order they were ordered? Does anyone know?

I think it might depend on your dealership, who have you used? I went to see two lags weekend in the middle of Devon and could have been out on the road but both were having private plates fitted should be out now though.

Very much doubt it . Looks like dealer deliveries are late and it's the usual big build up then "whats happening" scenario with I.M.

They refuse to learn from all that's gone on in the past

Oh dear. Well, this is not good reading. I suppose there is also the chance that my car could turn up at the dealership anytime then. My dealer has already been honest enough to tell me they haven't a clue when the next transporter will roll up outside their gates. The only date they are working from is the 30th.

The not knowing is crap. I can't plan anything. I would like to have a few days to clean/prep my RS before she goes, but I don't even know when to start that. The 30th is a Friday, and my dealer says he if it came then he would have the sti ready for me the next day.

Careful if it looks in top shape it might give them an excuse to find something they weren't already aware of like a mark on the paintwork. Also doing their 17 year old valet boy out of a job. I wouldn't worry about cleaning and prepping it in fact if you do it will look so nice you will question why you are selling it. Just be excited by the new car you will love the 'cockpit' compared to the RS that was what always put me off, I loved my Mk2 ST but always felt dated inside.

Not worried about my car condition as I mentioned all little marks on an email when doing the deal months ago. I still have all email conversations saved as well. I want to clean my RS and have it looking its best when it goes in - some might not understand why, but others might! I've also been given a really strong price for my RS (a price I would only deal at to be honest) so I don't think it would be fair to take my Ford in on the day looking like a bag of ****e.

Besides, I have dealt with this dealer a few years ago when I bought a Ford Kuga from them and I think we have a decent level of relationship. I would say looking into the nearest future IF Ford ever decide to release another RS I would be dealing with them a third time.

Don't worry mate some dealerships will have been further up the list than others. You may have been one of the first to order but maybe your dealer wasn't . You are in a great position and getting one of the first cars in the country. Just try and stay flexible and take what people say with a pinch of salt, remember good things come to those who wait.
