What sort of condition is it in? Have the mods been carried out well? Has it been looked after? When was it imported?

I spoke to the chap who is selling it today, is that the current owner or a trade seller?

Thanks,

The car was imported by litchfield and had the type 20 handling pack fitted and also remapped. It was then remapped by JGM back in 2011 as it had a fault with the ecu. I will be honest with you and say that it has been driven in the past but that's what there for tbh, the JDM is well built and can take it. The car has seen paint work on the drivers died and it was keyed on 3 driver side panels and was sold on to a dealer. I have seen the car up for sale since then with another person which tells me it had changed hands 3 times since.

It has AST coilovers which are notorious for requiring rebuilds so bear that in mind when viewing and check that there isn't any leaks knocks etc. one of the rear coils had to be replace due to snapping and the tears where rebuilt at the same time but that was a few years ago now.

Wasn't Clive performance selling it for £9,995 about 4 months ago??? Like already mentioned, its been around the block and sold on a few times, so if you do go and view, make sure you bring someone who knows what there looking for!!

First 2.0 JDM I've seen with a 2.5 engine (or is it the first WRX 2.5 I've seen with a 2.0 engine??????????).

"Spec C Turbo" - that'll be a VF36 then?
357bhp is pushing it, but no doubt there's a dyno readout.

Oh yes, there is.
And it, like the ad, says 'Type UK' (NOT 'Type 20').
And the dyno dies off at 6500rpm. JDM's go to 8K (OK, 7K testing).
And the power dies off too quickly (curve's too steep).
Max power comes in too late (should be under 3400 rpm and stay well into 5K ?)

If you haven't already bought it have a good dig about.

I'm sure someone on here can confirm or not my comments/concerns).

Btw I've compared it to my dyno (VF36, done in April at Powerstation).

Exactly what is this car ?

The figure are spot on for a VF36 mapped turbo and not pushing it IMO that's the norm, The VF36 starts to die off mid 6k anyway so no need to rev to 8k rpm

I went to view it and it had far too many scratches/dents for my liking. Current owner only had it 3 months, in my opinion bought it to sell it

To be fair though he said auto trader wouldn't give him the option to list the car as a 2.0 JDM, he said it had to go down as a 2.5
