is the hawkeye rear bumper the same as the blobeye rear bumper??

I believe so, although hawkeye STI will only be same as 05 onwards blobeye STI.
All WRX same.
Easy to change, from memory couple of screws on bottom each side, couple in wheel arch, take rear lights off to expose some nuts, take off plastic trim on boot opening and remove the plastic push clips, disconnect number plate bulbs and off it comes.

That's it. Rarely a pleasant sight beneath though... The 05STi on has arches and the rear bumper is modified to match at the front edge. All other 03 to 07 WRX and STi cars match.
