Default CAT question

Hi, would a 07 hawkeye CAT fit a 05 blobeye? It's for the downpipe. Any advice will be appreciated.

Don't think so, but don't totally know to be perfectly honest.

Anyway, why are you looking to refit a cat downpipe?
Is it de-catted now, has it been mapped without a cat?
Probably not a good idea to refit a cat downpipe if so?

Best thing to do (assuming you have MOT emissions problems) is fit a hi-flow cat downpipe - like the 05 cars got with the PPP downpipe

Last car I had came with a nice bit of kitchen towel over the air filter to get it through emissions.

I had it mapped without a CAT. I literally need a cat for the day off the mot. I'll put it on, get it got, get it mot'd and remove it again. Duncan assured me that this should be alright. The car won't be run with the cat on for more than a day.

Still think you'd be far better off purchasing a hi-flow cat downpipe.
Save yourself this kind of hassle every fecking year, and there's not a massive gain between hi-flow and straight through downpipe anyway.
