Default HELP!!!!! Terzo wont run right!!!

Right my subaru impreza terzo (uk engine) wont run right,
Firstly its been stood 2 years ran perfect before i garaged it! While its been stood the only thing ive done is removed the gearbox to change the oil seperator cover! Now the gearbox is back on ive put a vf23 turbo on and walbro 255 fuel pump! Other than that nothing changed!

So when i start the car its struggles to idle like its on 2 cylinders, some times it wont rev then other times it will!
So i changed the spark plugs it fired up great tried driving and it wouldnt boost and wouldnt rev over 3k came up with knock sensor fault code due to it detecting knock
Now its like the plugs are dead again so some how its killing spark plugs within 30 mins of running!!!! Help please im running out of ideas!!!!

Have you tried fresh fuel in it?

Have you had the ECU modded to run the VF23?
Boost solenoid or actuator sticking?
Is the knock sensor fubar'd?
Have you run fresh fuel through the lines?
As the Oil been changed?
Two years is a long time.

Yep ran fresh optimax through it yep checked swapped knock sensor!
The turbo was swapped off my other scoob was running fine and boosting fine the day i swapped it over! Not had the ecu mapped yet because incant get it to even idle some times! But like i say when i swapped the plugs it fired perfect but when i tried to drive it got to where the boost comes in and just held back big time and spluttered/back fired

I think the Terzo will require a mappable daughterboard (ESL) fitting to run the VF23. It's a significant item with parameters you ECU will not recognise.

Did you run fuel through pump?
Is the fuel pump wired properly/working?
Fuel filter is clean?

Probably old sticky fuel in the injectors clogging them up. So not getting proper fuel spray pattern.

When you say its 'killing the plugs' - in what way ?
Are they wet with fuel or electrodes burnt away ?
Are you running a FPR with the fuel pressure set correctly ?

Common cause for the fans running all the time is the wiring harness running below the rad comes unclipped and melts against the crossover pipe on the headers.

Not sure if it's possible to get the injectors to cycle without the engine running? If so I would disconnect the fuel feed and fuel return lines. Blow the pipes through then fill with injector cleaner, allow the injectors to cycle an few times then let it sit and repeat a few times to see it this helps. Once this has been done remove plugs and crank the engine over with Cam sensor disconnected to blow out the injector cleaner from he pistons. Re-fit plugs, blow through fuel lines again to remove remaining cleaner, connect pipes back up and start it and see how it runs then. Otherwise start it and keep it ticking over to run fuel through to see if it clears if not injectors out and off fro cleaning or replacement.

I changed the injectors for 440!but with these issues put 380 back in made no difference! Took the fpr back off due to the running issues thought it might be that was faulty turns. Out not, im wondering if it is the turbo sending 2 much air in to the engine so the ecu is putting more fuel in! Might try putting td04 back on

The turbo won't affect it at idle. Have you checked for fault codes?? There are posts on here on how to read the codes.

It will if the actuator is fecked or the ECU is reading things wrong.

The fans running constantly could be the sign of a dodgy coolant temp sensor, which could also be making the car overfuel

Including the fans on? Coolant temp sensor would have been where I would be going to sort the fan issues
