Default Spectator parking info

quick post to ask all spectators on entry to site to please drive over to the right hand runway as all spectator cars will be parked up on there. the first half mile at least (!) is reserved for Subarus only, so you wont run out of room.

Regional scooby groups will also have specific areas on that same runway right at the start of it for their members, marked out by cones/Group name, so please once you have paid your entry fee, drive straight in and bear to the right to get onto the main parking runaway.

Please dont try and enter the pitlane competitor area tho unless you have the correct pitlane pass and have paid to enter the competition, that area is reserved. it just slows everyone else up when the marshals have to back cars out of there.

If you do come in your scooby to spectate, and then get caught up in the heat of the competition rush (!) and fancy having a go at racing yourself, then please walk over to the signing on cabin near the handling area and pay the entry fee to race. All you need is a crash helmet and your driving license.
you'll be given stickers for your rear number plate and can then move your car into pitlane!

Many thanks

Chris,
If those who sign in on the day only need to produce their driver's licence and presumably, tax disc, why is it necessary for those who've pre-booked to also have available MOT, V5 logbook & insurance certificate, as stated in 'Cars- Rules & Regs.?

I don't have a problem with producing these but don't feel comfortable having all the car's docs. in one, insecure or vulnerable place.

Is it really necessary?

Cheers
Gerry

apologies, should have read driving license and helmet to sign on, car will of course need valid MOT and tax etc, and documents as we will check a random sample of cars during the day for documents.

could you not accept photocopys to reduce the risk of theft?
