Default 1995 wrx -daiski- project rexxy

ok after my shall i keep it ? thread the answer was a clear yes
so i thought i'd make a story of my project ,
i'm looking forward to this and after the response from the other posts i know i'm in the right place ,so thanks once again right here we go

subaru impreza wrx 1995
swapped for my mk3 astra van project

cat d right off it was a battered old van something like this

so heres the wrx
turbo blown been ragged to its death then ragged a bit more...

so as you can see its in a sorry state , the bumper was taken off to be towed back to my mates missus's mums house were the bumper lie peacefully on the drive untill the mum came home and dragged it up the drive ....doh

so the plan was to take the turbo out and replace and see whats what , so i bought a tdo4 turbo from ebay for £61 but i made the mistake of not checking the old one which turned out to be this bad boy

the tdo4 isnt a top entry either so waste of money /learning curve

so next pay day im buy a few tools i need to take the engine out , hopefully split the engine block down and find a already forged bottom end ....lol

anyway thanks for making me feel welcome and ill keep the post updated when i can .

money wont let me do it as fast i i'd like so im giving my self 12-15 months . cant wait!!

my old subaru ...any one know were it is now ??

What's the plan for the engine? Forging? If so have a look at realstreetperformance.com That's where I got my Wiseco Piston's, ARP headstuds and Crower Rods (Although I sold the rods later).

Lol no mate, looks a bargain . I've never driven a Legacy, let alone a modded one.
