Default standard v4 sti

right here goes.....
started lifein 4wds in my youth. wasnt till in my 30's i got a subaru..
gtir's and 200sx's were my thing.. then i got my first subaru..v4 type-r
blew it up at the pod and spent all my cash rebuilding it..
a few months late sold it for a loss... was fun tho.. 13.1 with shells rattling
then back to a gtir for a bit..was 330hp
but didnt feel like the -r did..
now my new toy is here.. a v4 sti 4 door,
its totally standard.. except exhaust of course.
got it for a goodprice cause the big ends are shot...
bu this is where i learnt.. build a good engine first and rest of the car will fall into place..

my plans are simple..
1.. good engine
2 good hoses (samco red)
3. leave it alone

will get some pics up later..not done much apart from stone chip under f+r bumpers, archs, skirts next
subaru front spats
twin gauge pod(pillar mount)
it has a bell mouth d'pipe and 3'centre and a afterburner straight exit pipe..
thats being replaced as its 2'1/2 to 3'

all advice and recomendations welcome...
planning on summer finish time for jap show..

chris

This car is enough to make me go grey.....
Got all running,,coolant done and bloody thing kept dripping oil. Aagghhhhhh
Ran it for about an hour on private airfield and parked it up. Went back today and found two little oil patches on floor... Bugger,!!!!
Did a full check and its the silly seals around bolts of cam cover. Well happy now some new ones and plenty of sealer and engine done.
Just rims and mot etc
1 and a half years later...... I get to drive it......
