Default Extreme Tuning - Impreza STI V-Mount project.

Hello All,

We were given an opportunity to build our own custom V-mount installation and rotated turbo kit for Subaru Impreza STI. The idea behind the project was to create a fast street car with short boost tubes in order to minimize the lag and to improve the throttle response.

In order to do this we build a lot of custom fabricated parts.

- EL header
- Up-pipe for EWG v-band /Tial 44/
- 3" Downpipe v-band
- Intercooler
- Radiator
- Alternator bracket
- Oil catch can
- Intake with MAF flange
- Boost tubes
- Water tubes
- Bracket for intercooler and water radiator

There is a picture without front bumper. This is the best shot that we had.

Looks awesome!

Would the turbo outlet pipework under the inlet manifold not need some wrapping though? I would have thought it would increase the inlet temps/engine block temps running under there?

This is not issue, because the amount of cooling area of the intercooler in much bigger then the boost tube.

In this case the intercooler core is a standard, but we are able to make a different design.

In order to protect the engine we build a custom aluminium engine under guard.
