Default Impreza in SW France

I have a 12 year old Subaru Impreza Turbo in SW France. A year ago it had new gasket and now the water pump has gone. Can't get it mended in France. Any ideas how I can get it back to UK, or maybe sell for parts in France?

Parts are very expensive in France, plus the local garage are reluctant to undertake the work as they say the car is old, bolts may be rusted and they don't know how much work is involved.

Sounds like a good garage lol!

I'm sure if you take it somewhere with a decent bit of knowledge they should be able to help you out

Plus breaking the car won't equate to much unless it has goodies that people want as there 10 to the penny now unfortunately, plus the postage costs may be another setback from France, maybe try findin the parts and sending them out to you may work out cheaper to repair it

Best of luck with it all!

Lol,bloody french!! it's an easy job, speak to adam at scoobyclinic he will send you a waterpump and a gasket, and you can download a guide off the net, and translate it with google or yourself if you have decent french.

Find a garage with a half decent spanner monkey and away you go.
