Default IMPREZA WRX CONVERSION

hello everyone,

my name is jamie, im 23 from scotland.

i am a massive subaru fan, these cars are just amazing so ive started a conversion on my 2003 impreza 1.6 ts,

the history,

due to age was unable to afford impreza, once i could afford one i couldnt insure one, so to start me off i got an impreza ts. ( WRONG CHOICE )

after going threw 2 engines and a gearbox i decided to build my own engine, after turbo'n a recon 1.6 and gaining only 5psi im unsatified, then bang. so i had the choice another 1.6, 2.0 sport, wrx , sti. After debating with myself i bought a wrx.

I now have a new car to get to and from work so gave me a new project to work on.

i started the conversion on the 1/3/12

Firstly stripping out the ts to rolling chassis (still to remove engine/box) then stripping interior of the doner car as im selling everything i dont need,

As of 17/3/12 the cars will be at my mates yard to crack on with the conversion. he has 2 post lifts so will be easy to remove all running gear to swap over.

cars.
2003 impreza ts (awd)
2001 impreza wrx

pics to follow,

any info or help regarding difficulties i may run into would be apreciated,
I have mechanical background and know my way about impreza's, the eletrical side will be the biggest task, i have all tooks and parts needed and will work on the car as my project during weekends and holidays (1/4/12 - 15/4/12) booked just for conversion. will post all updates and problems that i run into and have loads of pics threw difrent stages of the conversion,

Thanks Jamie
This will be fun but as this is my first impreza conversion.
