Couple of jobs on members cars
Thought I'd share a couple of pics of the 2 cars I'm currently working on who's owners belong to our glorious site lol.
First is Jonmc's beauty which is back with me having it's final detail before it's impreza idol pics and also having some brembo front/rear calipers/disc's refurbed and fitted along with longer rear wheel studs to add 20mm spacers to the rear.
couple of pics after a chemical wash to remove old polish/wax
Doesn't look to to bad considering that's with no shine aid on
Over the next 2 days the detail work will commence and it will e ready for her close up shots[with a decent camera I might add lol]
Here are closer shot's of the brakes I've refurbed and painted red to go with the suspension parts I've already done for Jon
Right the second scoob is TheTrooper1815's classic which I am fitting a carbon roof to,Ian has gone with the matt carbon which to be fair suits his cool grey classic perfectly!
Here are a few pics taken during the process
Once again a great quality product from Chris which was a pleasure to fit.
All that remains is to refit windscreens and roof trims and then some mechanical work while it's here plus MOT.

Thanks Jura,I'll be in contact tomorrow as well mate about your bonnet
Time isn't my friend at the moment mate as you know but I really wanted too
They look sweet none the less but I wonder if you spotted a little something of yours in the background of one of the pics?

It's worth the drive Stu, and if you avoid the motorways there's some great roads
I'm going to bring some microfibre cloths to go under the roof bar feet so we'll fit that when I get there, hopefully prevent any marks on the roof
White caliper bolts
And I think that bumper will look a bit obvious against the rest of my paint-work - some white detailing is fine but not whole panels
BTW, the brakes look the dogs, how much better do those rear wheels fill the arched with the spacers

I can soon change the bumper to custom 95H
It was an idea I had for the caliper bolts but haven't had the time to carry it out, would have been a nice touch I think
They do look sweet as tbho, you'll love them I'm sure and the rear wheels look quality with the spacers mate
They come out to the arch perfectly

I'm assuming that the longer bolts and thicker h/brake shoes were all fine then
Not sure what difference the white bolts would have made as they are all hidden behind the calipers

It all fitted a treat Jon,mind the longer studs took a while to change I have to admit and fitting freshly painted brakes with brake fluid around is abit
I had planned to do the bolt heads at the back and the end of the thread showing from the front but hay ho.
Stu if you want it painting mate get it to Jon or we can arrange a courier

The bonnet isn't ready yet Jon so no need for roof bars,I need to confirm with Jura what we are actually going to do.

Ryan,
Many thanks mate. Been very busy so not had chance to catch up. The smart phone isn't sometimes and getting pictures and posting back can be difficult. I'll call next week mate.
Top work with the can opener.

All we need is someone from the Navy and Ryan will have a "Purple" Garage.

No worries at all Ian,always a pleasure.
The roof is complete now and she is being MOT'd Monday along with a look at that dreaded hesitation
