Default The Budgie rebuild 2011

After buying the above uk sti back in September 2008
I had hoped to use the car for track days and fast road use
I bought the car from a private owner from yorkshire with all the TSL advertising very prominent, not a big problem at the time
The car was advertised as a 500bhp/500lb,ft track tool
Graham at TSL was a hard person to get on with and tried to talk the current owner out of selling the car to me
I soon found out that the car was constantly back at TSL with one issue or another, some down to the owners lack of respect for heating and cooling, and some down to his choice of driver assistance. In fact the car was at TSL when i bought it and the owner handed over 3.5k to TSL for outstanding work as I handed him the purchase fee.
I asked the owner for the build spec of the car but to no avail so asked TSL for the info, they told me that it was up to the original owner to surrender the info to me. In other words , get stuffed. This was the day before the TSL logo's came off the car and the last time I wanted to give them the credit for the build.

My guess is the head-gasket, he's been having some coolant overflow issues on the track.

Second guess is FB Tuning aka Fiestaboy aka Rich will be doing the work

hi John, Jon and Steve
the build is needed as the car has never delivered what TSL said it would
I have put my faith and credit card in the hands of
Richard at FBtuning
let the results speak for themself

valve stem seals were not fitted correctly though
hence the oil problem

Richard does not need my car to prove his ability
he had his own 617bhp classic for that

By the way Budgie, what size are those Compomotives? I'm guessing 8 x 18? Any idea how much do they weigh?
