Default TRACK CAR BUILD! 06 SPEC-C HAWKEYE

HEY EVERYONE. AFTER MY DISASTER LAST MONTH BLOWING UP MY ENGINE AFTER RACING AN R6 I HAVE SPOKEN WITH THE GUYS AT ROGER CLARK. ORIGINALLY IT WAS GOING TO HAVE SOME FORGED INTERNALS AND BE LEFT AT THAT. NOT ANYMORE. AFTER SOME CHAT ON THE PHONE AND A FEW E-MAILS, IM TAKING THE MAMOUTH DRIVE TO LEICESTER TOMMOROW TO DISCUSS THE SPEC OF THE CAR AND THE BIG KILLER MONEY!!
THE PROJECT WILL BE UNDERTAKEN OVER ROUGHLY 12 MONTHS. A SOLID AND 100% RELIABLE FORGED BLOCK, ROTATED TURBO,SEQUENTIAL SHIFTER, STRIP OUT, MOTEC M800, AP BRAKES, EX-E-TEC SUSPENSION , WILL BE SOME OF THE CHANGES. I WILL BE STARTING A THREAD AS SOON AS THE GUYS START WORK ON THE CAR

How the hell did you blow a Spec C engine up?
In 3 years of ownership and a bit of spirited driving, i never did anything like that
And mine was running on the jap map!

having had allot of dealing with RCM i can tell you that you won't be dissapointed but if I was spending that type of money I would have had a long test drive in the 911 gt3 before i made the visit

Most probably engine was not destroyed just bt racing an R6, that was probably just the last straw. Apart from Pete who only had it about 2 weeks , did it come straight from japan? Was it ever mapped for UK fuel? Any idea what boost it was running?

ps I think what Wrx Rich means is that the RCM build will probably set you back the similar amount to a used GT3. I would imagine a build like that would be at least £50k plus from RCM??

Goodluck, looking forward to build
