Well after owning the car from new for over 5 years and modding it for most of that time i've finally decided to start a project thread
title might be a clue as to where it's going now
Here's the car standard (apart from mudflaps) on it's way to Japfest 2004

Current spec is
VF34 turbo
STi Intercooler
STi Injectors
Full Decat
Ported and Wrapped Standard Headers by Harvey Smith
Exedy Uprated Clutch
Lightweight Flywheel and Pulleys
Uprated Fuel Pump
Remap by Bob Rawle
Perrin 25mm Rear ARB
Perrin 22mm Front ARB
Perrin Rear Subframe Lockdown Kit
Eibach Springs
Whiteline Droplinks
Whiteline Anti Lift Kit
STi Front and Rear Strut Braces
Alignment by Zak (Mocom Racing)
STi Wheels and Goodyear F1 tyres
K-Sport 8 Pot 330mm Front Brakes
Defi Gauges (Oil Temp-Oil Pressure-Turbo Boost)
Custom Knocklink Display
STi Bonnet Scoop
STi Fog Lamp Covers
De-Badged Grille
Roof Rail Delete
Scott Lowe Mudflaps
Car as it looks now which shouldn't change to much in the future

Perrin 22mm front ARB with Perrin droplinks

Perrin 25mm rear ARB with Perrin droplinks, droplinks have been changed back to Whiteline steel items as the Perrin ones made a horrible noise over 100mph

Perrin Subframe lockdown kit (no fitted pics of these)

Whiteline steering rack bushes

Whiteline ALK (no fitted pics again)

Thanks to Eureka for helping me fit a APS front mount intercooler Saturday, it hasn't been plumbed in for the moment as the engine is going to be changed in a few weeks time

Now the interesting bit
engine spec
The engine was built by Sam at Zen Performance, it's not a brand new but has done about 10,000 miles
RA closed deck block (with oil squirters)
8.7:1 compression
Nitrided STi 9 crankshaft
Carillo H-section +1mm length rods
Mahle custom competition pistons (w'lighweight -gudgeon pins)
ACL race bearings
14mm-12mm head studs
Fully dynamically balanced
Early STi RA solid lifter ported/gasflowed competition heads by TSL Motorsport
Supertech stainless steel inlet valves, inconel exhaust valves
Supertech uprated dual valve springs & titanium retainers
DH22 MY98 WRC camshafts
Kent adjustable alloy vernier pulleys & Power Enterprise timing belt (w'all new idlers)
Cosworth 1.1mm head gaskets
12mm modified high volume oil pump
Baffled/modified sump
Cosworth windage tray
Ceramic coated tubular headers (GTSPECII)
Uprated water pump w'lighweight alloy cross pipe
Early STi RA inlet manifold w' Goodridge alloy (parallel) fuel lines, MEF fuel rails, Turbosmart FPR & O'ringed phenolic in-mani spacers
Nismo 740 Injectors
For the time being i'll be using my VF34 turbo & 5 speed box (fingers crossed it lasts
)
Then over the winter it should be fitted with a different turbo (not decided on which yet) and a 6 speed box which i'm on the lookout for now

Looks very professional Ian.
I've been looking at this one, almost the same.

Wow a lottery jackpot by any chance
should liven the wagon up a little
just a shame 2/3rds of it will not get used the way you drive
unless of course you have the Essex Constabulary behind you
