Well after owning the car from new for over 5 years and modding it for most of that time i've finally decided to start a project thread :) title might be a clue as to where it's going now ;)

Here's the car standard (apart from mudflaps) on it's way to Japfest 2004

K-Sport 8 pot front brakes, 6 pot rears to be fitted soon once i get the correct brackets after the wrong ones were sent to me

Perrin 22mm front ARB with Perrin droplinks

Perrin 25mm rear ARB with Perrin droplinks, droplinks have been changed back to Whiteline steel items as the Perrin ones made a horrible noise over 100mph

Looks good, how hard were the stering rack bushes to fit?

is it an 'out the car' job, there not inside there car are they?

Didn't fit the bushes myself but i did watch them being done, not too hard to fit once your under the car, 1 of them was a bit of a pig to fit but nothing too hard

Thanks to Eureka for helping me fit a APS front mount intercooler Saturday, it hasn't been plumbed in for the moment as the engine is going to be changed in a few weeks time :D

Now the interesting bit :thumb: engine spec

The engine was built by Sam at Zen Performance, it's not a brand new but has done about 10,000 miles

RA closed deck block (with oil squirters)
8.7:1 compression
Nitrided STi 9 crankshaft
Carillo H-section +1mm length rods
Mahle custom competition pistons (w'lighweight -gudgeon pins)
ACL race bearings
14mm-12mm head studs
Fully dynamically balanced
Early STi RA solid lifter ported/gasflowed competition heads by TSL Motorsport
Supertech stainless steel inlet valves, inconel exhaust valves
Supertech uprated dual valve springs & titanium retainers
DH22 MY98 WRC camshafts
Kent adjustable alloy vernier pulleys & Power Enterprise timing belt (w'all new idlers)
Cosworth 1.1mm head gaskets
12mm modified high volume oil pump
Baffled/modified sump
Cosworth windage tray
Ceramic coated tubular headers (GTSPECII)
Uprated water pump w'lighweight alloy cross pipe
Early STi RA inlet manifold w' Goodridge alloy (parallel) fuel lines, MEF fuel rails, Turbosmart FPR & O'ringed phenolic in-mani spacers
Nismo 740 Injectors

For the time being i'll be using my VF34 turbo & 5 speed box (fingers crossed it lasts :lol1:)
Then over the winter it should be fitted with a different turbo (not decided on which yet) and a 6 speed box which i'm on the lookout for now

Get it sprayed a proper colour . . . .job done! Or is that why its project stealthy - boost up the mechanics but leave it a slow colour :lol1:

Wow a lottery jackpot by any chance;) should liven the wagon up a little:thumb::) just a shame 2/3rds of it will not get used the way you drive :lol1: unless of course you have the Essex Constabulary behind you :norty::lol1:

About 330bhp / 320ft lbs

Fogs were already taken out as i had STi covers on but no you don't lose them with that intercooler :)
