Default Road car to track car

Stripping my everyday road car and turning it into a track car and so far i have the power 400+BHP and im now starting to make it lighter, already removed seats & a/c and the boot has been stripped, so i guess what my question is what else could i do to make car lighter, Would removing rest of interior ie carpets, roof liner etc make much of a difference, i will also be removing rear spoiler and replacing with a carbon drift works spoiler next week, ANY OTHER IDEAS WOULD BE HELPFULL THANKS

Handling & Interior spec

17" inovit redlines 215/40/17 Toyo T1rs
Hotbits fully adjustable coilovers
Whiteline anti lift kit
Whiteline 4 point lower strut brace
Whiteline ARB & solid droplinks
Whitline strut brace
Scoobyclinic 6 pot big brake kit

OMP Bucket seats
OMP 4 point harnesses

What is the weight of a 95 WRX in standard form & what weight could i lose roughly when stripped out

Here is a pic of the dieting scoob

Stripping the interior will make a difference, The UK impreza is the lightest of them all weighing in at 1210kg as standard

Depends
on how far you want to go,you could remove all sound deadening which is heavy, remove the door bars, cut out spare wheel well and replace with a flat ally sheet, carbon door panels with drilled out doors. The list goes on.

I thought about carbon door panels but they are mega bucks unless i can get some second hand ones, and i will remove all sound deadening.
I think the Import wrx is lighter than uk impreza, mine has alloy bonnet and lighter panels than uk impreza and would love to get it down to a 1000kg

Cheers

I would have thought the RA would weigh less. No lecy windows, no spoiler, alloy bottom arms and bonnet etc.

airbags, central locking, interior clock...............

i would put my mortgage on the version 1 & 2 type RA comming in at 1170 kilos and the version 3 comming in arond 1200 or just above, having owned a UK turbo and now a STI V3 RA i definately know my current one is alot lighter than the UK turbo ever was, ill wait to be proved wrong on this though but i cant see it

Cars looking real good, and the low level spoiler don't look right. I think either medium (photoshop it i think for more opinions) or keep as it is coz it looks good.

My 2p's worth

Oh... my understanding was that the SC46 indicates a 460 bhp turbo but recalling my conversation with SC this will take you up to 420 max if that??

What torque levels are you expecting?

TBO im not 100% sure myself about turbo so i may have it wrong about the SC46 guess i need to ask SC, as for torque levels if i get 450bhp on a 2ltr then 430ish torque would be nice but at the end of the day you get what you get i surpose
