progress on j3 geo track car to date
hi chaps i started to do regular posts on our new track car j3 geo ,but because of work commitments i was unable to do so .here is the progress so far
floor bar added for safety to brace across the rear cage mounts
full interior stripped out all combustable materials removed (the tar sh*t sound panels seam weldind done to areas thar req it --no rot anywhere (jap import) all seam sealer removed (car will be waxed later with merc wax ,because it will be road legal and i dont want it rotting away
cage mounts welded in and roof mounts fabricated for top of cage
all rear bungs removed from floor and welded up
plates welded to the rear arches for rear part of cage
here is the hyd handbrake mounted in place
we are going to use the car on hillclimbs as well as track days and sprints
car now painted in 2 pack paint
aeroquip brake hoses and hyd hand brake set up all powder coated
tilton valve for adjusting the rear brake pressure
front brakes are 6 pot 330x 32mm compbrake rear 4 pot 330x20mm compbrake
residual valves for the rear calipers
the car fresh in from japan

Looking good geo,, guys seen this beast in the flesh just the other night its a work of art all the proper prep with no corners cut this guy can build a car. looking forward to seeing the finished article and it out on the hillclimbs. greig
