Question Hello From Texas, USA! RE: Subdub?

My new project is a 67 Beetle with a mid-engine, 94
Subaru Legacy Engine Twin Turbo 2.0L Dohc EJ20
hooked to a Subaru transaxle?

Has any one in your group done this kind of swap??
Does anyone know of a place here in the US that
sells the kit to convert a 4WD to a 2WD?

I have cut a 68 pan just behind the front seats and
i'm building a custom rear frame to hold the engine
and trans with ladder bars and coil over shocks!
I'm also adding an 8 point roll cage!

Also does anyone know where you can find a wiring
diagram for a EJ20-TT?

Thanks,
JC!

Have a look here for some info on someone who has dropped the engine in. As for the AWD to RWD, have a look here.

Nice! Having owned a '66 Beetle before I'd love to see how this goes. However, I think you'll have a lot more luck with advice on a VW forum as most Scoob owners over here are a lot more into their Scoobs than Beetles...
