newby to track car project
Gents
Have just acquired a 55 plate WRX cat D for use as a track/race(maybe eventually Britcar/PS1) car.
Want to lose as much weight as possible so a full rip out is required.
Any tips/tricks/websites i can use?
Are they 1480kg?
What wieght am I likely to lose?(and no jokes about cuttin off my head to tose 20lbs of ugly fat!!!)
And gain with a full cage in it?
Best place for a cage??
Any sensible advice very welcome
Cheers

Several people have done such work.
Read the Zen TA car thread and the last 10 pages of Rob's hillclimb car.
The thread by Dinges is really good too.
If you want to be extreme, saving weight will cost you too.
