Wiring to my95RA?
This is both a project and a request for information.......
Ive seen some jumbled mess's of wiring in my time, and my RA rates right up there with them.
In the Passenger footwell is the wiring to:
PowerFC (plus the unit itself)
commander
avcr
techedge wbo2 c/w nbo2 pinout
earth strap back to battery neg
standard footwell loom.
Has anybody done any tidying up in this area? I dont run carpets or owt so its all on show and I want to acheive something sensible like:
this piece of art
Can anyone throw any light or have you done anything like it?

I know AndyF and I think Paul at Zen 'un-picked' their looms to pull the weighty superfluous wires out and it was a tedius pig of a job.
Someone else reconded it was quicker to start from scratch as an alternative.
If you are bulding a non road-going car then all the lights etc are coming off then i would start from scratch.
I've wired 2 cars from scratch and it is quite easy, just takes for ever, but you can route it all the way you want it to be like the Focus above.

it is road going in as much as it gets driven to events and of course Germany and back.

Andy:
There are lots of circuits to 'remove' with long wire runs, ie the interior lights to the headlining, the door switches, the power mirrors, and a load of others.
cigar lighter circuits! all cr@p you do not need.
Boot light?
It goes on.
Hope you got the seat mount pictures.
Graham
ps: fallen in love with the Gibson again!

G, dont get too attached, oh she will be mine
There is pretty much no interior left in the RA so following looms etc is somewhat easier than before. also being a proper RA there is no leccy windows or anything daft like central locking.
seat pics look cool but nervous about the task......
