Default SUBARU IMPREZA STI - "korpen" - THE NÜRBURGRING KILLER!!

Hello to you all!!

RESTART OF THIS (dead thread) PROJECT THREAD!!

My name is Patrik Fürstenhoff and I would like to present SWT Racing's Nürburg ring edition Impreza STI, a STI which has few parts left from an original Impreza STI!!

This is what we did start with, a standard Subaru Impreza STI 2007, a car some would say is fast on roads and tracks!!

When the car was completely clean inside did we send the car to a former staff member of Ford Motor sport who did weld in a WRC roll cage!!

We did then go out on Internet to try to find out which tuning company in the world which was the best regarding make us an engine to reach our goal of 600hp++ and did in the end contact TRP in Australia which was the company who build our engine from scratch!!

MOVIT is the company who had support us with the brakes, big 6 in front, big 4 in back together with 370mm discs front and back!! (we also do have Porsches ceramic brakes front and back if these MOVIT will fail!! )

After nearly 2 years of other things to do did the engine setup finally at December 16 finally arrive to one of the best engine doctors in the world to find out what the set up from TRP do give, after that will we change some parts as to make what we need to do to reach 600hp++ on the wheels!! (the results will if everything works be out next Monday)

A very nice project indeed.

One question, have you gone for a carbon roof also ? just some of the later shots look like the roof panel have been removed.

Very very nice indeed. Good to see another Subaru with Movit brakes. From the look of the pictures you've got a 6-pot movit kit up front and 4-pot movit kit on the rear. Did you get a custom bracket made up for the rear or is movit now, finally, offering a rear kit for the Impreza? I used to run one of the movit 4-pot kits on my WRX Wagon and always fancied a matching rear kit but at the time they never had one.

You will find more details of the Time Attack at Time Attack Series - Official Website

The remaining rounds are: -

3rd June - Silverstone National circuit
28 July - Knockhill
2 Sept - Brands Hatch Indy circuit

If you send an email to rob@timeattack.co.uk letting him know your intentions then you may get lucky and be able to buy a place at one of the rounds - but that will depend on someone dropping out as the places have all been sold.

Oh and you would have to enter in the Pro class, not the club challenge, with that spec of car.

Hope this helps

He he he....

I and the team will be at the ring in the end of April to finish the challenge between Sabine Smitz in a Porsche Carerra GT and a black rider on a
GSX-R1000K5 for the fastest lap around the "Ring"!! (will then also have our 2006 Impreza STI with us which have around 350bhp just to have some fun)

I hope that we in the end of May will be at the "Ring" with the race Subaru to set some quick laps - maybe even quicker then the black rider with the bike!!

@ Patrik...Thanks for the Info....

Maybe this time i´m quick enough for the "black Rider" to sign my Helmet...Even a Myth needs Fuel sometimes....

Your car will be quicker than the Gix 1000 round the ring
Never ever...this "black Driver" passed me in 2006 on the Sloop.I am not he slowest but i thought i was driving backwards. (but very fair anyway)
That was a 8:20....later he gots better ..a 7:20..
There were also a lot of Posche & Vipers...and nobody passed him.
and a black rider on a
GSX-R1000K5 for the fastest lap around the "Ring"!!
What about a K6?.Modern Times,modern Bikes...

And if you´re there @ the end of April plz ask the "black Rider" about his HP..Still a note like "back a.s.a.p".......

Like the HP of SWT....whats going on there?...waiting....

But overall it´s nice to see a "black Rider" back on the road..I´ve heard he retired.....
