Default Fitting an FMIC to a bugeye..

.. not really a hands on type of guy, but I am looking at fitting a FMIC to my bugeye.

What I would like to know is, what I need to start with?

I am currently running standard TD04 turbo with a full decat and looking at a remap early next year.

I have a uprated fuel pump to be fitted.

What else do I need> eg Spark plugs, CAI or an Induction Kit...

All help would be great.

Thanks
S!

ps I am not looking at big power its a looks and some power car.

you need an induction kit the original airbox is too big and the pipes are in the way.. no chance keeping the original airbox..

I have fit a aps unit to my bugeye wrx

you need to cut a good chunk out of the front bumper

and I very much doubt it would do your td04 any favours, coulds make things worse - buy a vf35 and forget the front mount

I fitted a MRT FMIC (Australian) to my bugeye STi 4 years ago, having also fitted a tubular manifold. Then as a package a APS 3" exhaust, GEMS ECU, uprated fuel pump and APS duel port DV. I am still running the standard turbo and am happily putting 360 bhp through the flywheel. The main problem with the FMIC is an increase in turbo lag. As I have been running it for 4 years it is not a problem. Looking round at the kits avaliable I would agree with the APS as they provide a new bumper support bracket to save butchering the OE item like I had to. Best of luck Steve
