Inlet Temp Sensor
Some time last year i stumbled across a thread where someone had bought a temp sensor module where the business end was fed in under the inlet hose and the digital readout was mounted in the centre console, next to the BRIGHT switch.
I had this thread saved for future reference but at some point i`ve deleted the ******* without realising, so does anyone know who this person is? or does anyone have this thread saved? i need to know what module it was they used.
thanks in hope
Ab
p.s. have searched for over an hour for it too, i`m NOT imagining seeing it...........i think

It was a digital temp unit from MAPLINs, I bought one and fitted the sensor in the throttle body.
Got some interesting readings, like 30 degree jump when accelerating up through a couple of gears for 10 seconds. A larger intercooler soon stopped that.
Was thinking of getting a 2nd one to put before the intercooler to see how efficient it was or to put in the air filter measure the effects of cold air ducting around the air filter.

cheers Spender, i`m guessing the one you got from Maplins wasn`t the one with the 15sec refresh rate? i see there`s one with an adjustable refresh rate of 1sec or 10sec, is that the one you use? or is it a different one again?
cheers

Or you can buy mine. It really is the proper deal, as used by Darth Rawle. No sloppy refresh rates with this unit. Sorry to plug.
