i was curious about something me and 2 of my mates were discussing the other night......
My mate is a pretty good panel beater and sprayer and he reckons with a bit of work and effort we could make a 4dr shell into a 2dr. I offered to buy the shell for him to do it. If he was successful with this we were gonna have a carbon fibre bodykit made for it and then get a donor car for all the parts....
Went to look at a shell today and i really dont think its possible but hes insisting he can do it.

Nice

Meant to tell you i saw a video a while back and it featured a classic 4 door converted to a coupe.
Will have to see if i can dig it out.

Subaru don't supply new shells. That's why if the shell twists in a smack, the car is usually written off. You should look very carefully at any shell you are offered for kinks in the floorpan and/or the roof.

That video might be the key to all my problems Dave..... Be much appreciated.

I spoke to a chap this afternoon who used to work for Prodrive and specialises in building rally cars now.. mostly Scoob's and Fords and he might be able to get hold of a shell for me for a very nice price. Also offered his services if we decide to go ahead with it....... be nice to have a pro around.
