Talking of lathes my father in law had three months off work due to illness and on going back they had thrown away / paid someone to come and take away one of the lathes!! ****!!

I would have had it and removed it etc.. unfortunate he was off work ill for more than one reason!!!

Oh well

That makes a change as most of the stuff you post does that to me

D1-6 or other similar designation relates to the spindle nose attachment that you need. I have a 10" 3 jaw you're welcome to but unless you can attach it to your lathe it ain't much good. No resorting to the welder either

@David

How you will fix the Aluminium plate to the pulley?

Maybe im Wrong but i think not all pulleys are made out of Aluminium any Idea if this will work with the plastic pulleys also?

phase 1 cars (92-96) have 4 steel pulleys.. that is steel not ally.. it will be welded and bolted to the pulley..

On hold at the moment as there isnt as much rush.. someone I know (see thread on 22b.com) will be machining some ally centres for steel phase 1 pulleys (cams are different) and no doubt will sell a set for a reasonable price
