but on a shoestring.
and with a lack of knowledge; but bags of enthusiasm (sp.?).
whats the accepted best i/c to rag from a scrappies yard?

Being as how my first target for power is (only
)280 bhp, Ive decided to stick (certainly for now) with TMIC, but uprated to the Sti i/c with Samco hoses.
as and when the need dictates, I will re-evaluate.
cheers for the advice.

Why bother, as Tone Loc suggests, go for the Hybrid FMIC at 2-3x as much as a second hand TMIC but it ain't limited to 300 bhp. The Hybrid FMIC is an awesome bit of kit for the money. Look at the pictures on Harvey's website.
