What do you want your big bhp engine to be used for?

Like most other peeps on here:

Mostly 1/4 mile with the ocassional trackday and bragging

When i say big power i mean 350-450 and still be a daily driver.

Thanks

STI.

Should come with strengthened internals as standard.

Just got my STI 5 Type R running @400bhp.(Standard internals)

Can use it as a daily driver if I want.(Helps having Switchable boost maps).

Havn't so far tracked or 1/4rd it (Had no desire. thats what'll FAK it!). Much fun elsewhere though!

Have bought new Pistons and rods though.(For insurance)

Steve.

Yea, i kinda thought an STi would be the best starting point. An early one, later one, RA, typeR...etc etc?

First of All, are you planning on opening it up, or leaving it std inside?

If opening it up, Id go for a legacy CDB

Try early one with CDB.

If you can get one!

Early WRXs had CDB just 93 and some 94. Then only RAs until 96.

All turbo legacys with original engine should have CDB.
