I have a 1988 RX7 with a buggered rotary engine. What can I put in instead? Is it worth it?

Cheers!

Cool

have you tried asking on mazdarotaryclub as well?
I recall a chap had a V8 in one not too far from here who got the rotary boys excited when he said he was running a silly BHP until he revealed it was a "boinger"

Why not put in a decent engine, none of this V8 crap! Try ditching the broken R13B for either a single turbo R20B (out of a Cosmo) or go a little bit special and construct an R26B four rotor... in normally aspirated trim they're good for 700 BHP, just think what breathing a couple of PSI down it from two small turbos would do Here's a nice piccy...

Cheers,

Pat.
