I pulled the stock 1.8Litre engine and I've dropped a 2.2Litre engine into this car. Replaced stock exhaust with cat-back 2003 WRX exhaust, AEM Cold Air Intake, and am installing 2003 stock 16 inch WRX alloys and Bridgestone Potenza RE92 tires.
Only problem is the tranny - no 5th gear (not sure why...any suggestions? Feels like neutral when in 5th).
Curious to know if a 6 speed manual will work with this car and am planning to turbo in future.

Is it an auto car? if it is then you have got to add a clutch pedal into the car which isnt impossible but involves a fair bit of pisching around.

If it is allready a 5 speed the i cant see why not aslong as the block is the same as the car the 6spd is coming out off. You may have to fabricate a few mounts or something but nothing major i wouldnt imagine...

 

I just installed Eibach coilovers! Pics to come. Dropped the rear 1/2inch and the front 1 inch. Looks and feels great. Decided not to mess with the tranny too much and am replacing it with a used one from another 95 AWD in two weeks. Pics will come soon!
Front and rear strut tower bars to come as well as skid plates and a roll cage - I MUST HAVE A TIGHT SUSPENSION AND OFF ROAD ABILITY!
I've nixed the idea of a turbo - not enough $$$ in the budget, but if anyone has freebies for this car, please let me know!
