Default Wrx Wagon Salvage Project

So, im now on my 4th scooby! Couldnt resist another one as I have never had a wagon. Anyway long story short I picked this one up from a salvage auction. And so far I have spent £40 on a front bumper complete, £50 on a pair of headlights, and £30 on a crash bar. I need to spend another £170 to get the front bumper painted and then its ready to go!

2003, 113k genuine mileage. Now guess what I paid.....

Good to see another wagon getting some love. Too many people write them off because they're the wrong shape but they're so much more practical and you can't tell when you're sitting in the drivers seat other than not having the massive wing in the rear view.

Thanks mate, I couldn't pass up on this one as like I said before I've never owned a wagon and always fancied one. Only downside is it's got the dreaded rust bubbles appearing on both rear arches so this will need attention, although depending on price I'm quoted from my painter I may end up selling it.

Good job, not many small estates that can hold a candle to a wrx wagon.

Not really much to update as of yet...Replacement front bumper is at the painters and I treated myself to a GFB atmospheric dump valve which I need to fit at some point. This weekends project is to tile my garage floor.

Amongst all this COVID the painter had the bumper some time but I finally picked it up and fitted it today. Will hopefully give the car a wash tomorrow if I'm brave enough to venture outdoors!

loving this! more pics! another wagon owner. Always had fast estates ver sedans, like a small van with the seats down! Literally just took 65lb dog to the vet in a large crate that couldnt happen in the saloon...
