Default Best step for more power.

Hey guys I'm new here with at least 4 years experience on my 1994 wrx grey import. Its lighter a bit more power than a wrx of its year and with a sunroof 4door sedan.

I've recently fixed all running gear and replaced it with 05 wrx\sti gear replaced all seals in the engine and box with a 05 wrx box. All CVs have been reolaced, rotors and pads and water pump and radiator and hoses. Safe to say its ready for power.

Its running a TD05 says my mechanic but says vf17 on the turbo, (weird I know), but they boosted it up to 10psi healthily and loves it.

My next mission is to make it faster, as far as I know they are stock injectors and fuel pump so what's my next best step? What injector sizes and pump? Do I need a fuel pressure regulator? Also its a Z4 ECu.

Much appreciated

Jesse

Better brakes and suspension set up/ handling mods and then learn to drive it better.

Hey presto faster car.

Problem with more power is it tends to break things and cost you lots of money and time with the car off the road, if the engine etc is healthy and happy the way it is then I wouldn't mess with it.

Oh and you could also make the car lighter and lose some weight yourself.

Id save up and get an ECU thats mappable 1st, no point in power gains if it isnt mapped properly.
I have the same car.

That's not even standard boost pressure.

More boost! Something like 17-18psi will be fine
