So after having a go at TOTB, I have become really interested in taking part in the MLR sprints this season.

Here are a few pictures of the current spec and progress over the last few months.
Im also to put a few on here of my trackday at Brands Hatch where I gave the car a shakedown with mark (pro3mark) and david gabriel.
Although i had a power steering res lid blow off while i was out with marc kemp. We soon had the bolts back in mopped up fluid and over to car wash to jet wash any ps fluid left.
I cant explain how happy i am with the set up from steven the car is so much more planted and predictable now. I cant thank him enough with all the work he has done on my car and problems he has rectified. Im really happy with the package iv got for the budget i had.
si (jgm) mapped the car last wed at srr it made 386 with vpower and then we added 20% meth and got 431.9 wow what a difference.
the power delivery is so smooth.
So thanks guys with all the help you have given me and answering the stupid questions i may ask lol i really appreciate it. Im one happy man.
thanks rob (peasant motorsports)

Round 1 castle combe
Well this was my first mlr sprint and it being castle combe made me extremly nervous to say the least.
I was taking my time through out the practice runs trying to learn the track it was really not as scary as I thought.
But I really had trouble tower corner I just wasn't hitting it hard enough.
However by afternoon times started coming down. I eventually got my times down to a 1:14.17 then didn't get any better as I had span on last run coming out of quarry. John felstead had then sneaked in and took my trophy lol well done mate. I'm still very happy with 4th
I had so much fun and it was great meeting new faces and the old ones.
We really couldn't of asked for better weather even if we did have the rain night before.
I was extremly happy with car once again how it handled and the realibility.
I can't thank Steven enough for the advice and help he had given me.
Overall had an amazing day and had learnt alot so I'm a very happy man.
Next oulton park see you there guys
A lil vid for you guys a few probs I can see but it's all good I can learn from it. Also that is me shouting abuse at my car lol

Depends where I am with it, still need that 6 speed box conversion, lightened flywheel and new clutch. I've managed to get some Sparco Evo 2 seats recently so just waiting on sub frames to come from Italy. I'm off to the Nurburgring again in a few weeks so should give the seats a good shakedown.

Wow so oulton was a bit different.
Went out on re70 with low pressure and I couldn't believe the lack of grip really couldn't get to grips with it at all, wanted to give up before I crashed it........ Then chasing felstead left me with a dent in my door and paint removed from sills doors new wheels .
I started to grasp how to attack Oulton after watching bez block lol just drive like you stole it.
Overall loved it in end even if did write the car off in process.
Well worth it when I got my self on the podium with felly and Clive well done guys.
Again car was faultless and again wouldnt of done it with out the car I have now thanks Steven (sd Motorsport) also the advice you and Marc were giving me through out the day.
Think I need to upgrade the 20g turbo for the next couple sprints

Maybe later in the year mate, most of my weekends are tied up between now and the end of July so I won't get the turbo and pinks done and the subsequent remap until August

Blyton park - eastern circuit
What a day we drive up 4 am 140 miles not 1 prob i do 1 practice lap and I got a coolant leak. So me and jack (Richard Henry) sort that out ready for me to do next run.
Then 1st competive run I came out of curve grande went to power on and I had no power and it sounded like my headers had cracked still got 1:10 so I knew there was more to come. I got in pits/ runway jacked her up to find I had lost my lambda bung asked every one have you lambda bung or lambda sensor no one had one then I see yam and he said I got one in box lets go grab it so thanks a lot yam I wouldn't of got out again if it weren't for you/Matty .
So were all ready to go next few runs go I thought I need to be quicker I'm gonna hit curve grande harder well that didn't work out to well I ended up going backwords towards Armco in process bending my wheel.
At time didn't realise it was bent so went back out and car was shaking a lot. So back in see my brakes touching wheel there bloody close not that close lol. Swapped rear to front wheel checked pressure was ready for next run. Then someone said I was 4th I thought I can't let this happen so put my game face on and went for it.
1:06 :54 was achieved tbf it wasn't my best run in parts of the run really poor launch and bit of sideways in bunga bunga but we can always say what we could do better ay.
It was just so competitive in s2 such good fun but again beaten by John well done John and Adam great battle .
Again thank you Steven for advice during the day really appreciate it.
Thanks Richard Henry guys for tool hire and help you would think I would buy a decent tyre pressure gauge lol
And again thank you Matty and yam at MB developments for lambda sensor to get me back out there.
Nice seeing all of you see you hethel.
