Default Blobeye 2.35 project

After some serious thought about selling my blobeye and moving on to something else I've decided it's a keeper and it's time for further upgrades

Current spec:
Engine/Drivetrain:
• Scoobyclinic SC42 Billet turbo
• Lateral Performance supplied GT spec headers with a Harvey Smith supplied smaller diameter up-pipe (DEI heatwrapped)
• H&S Bellmouth 3" downpipe (DEI heatwrapped)
• HKS HiPower Silent 3" exhaust (flanges converted to 3" by H&S exhausts)
• 10mm Inlet manifold spacers & header tank spacers
• Reversed inlet manifold
• 2.75" Alloy turbo intake pipe
• K&N RC2530 air filter
• Injector Dynamics ID1000 injectors
• Fuellab 3 port fuel pressure regulator
• Aftermarket fuel rails with braided hose and Torques Aeroquip fittings
• Walbro fuel pump (larger than the 255lph version)
• HDI Hybrid front mount intercooler
• Tial Type Q blow off valve
• Oil catch can setup
• NGK PFR7B spark plugs
• ACT SB10-XTG6 and prolite flywheel with OEM release bearing
• Mocal 19 row oil cooler with thermostat plate (not fitted)
• Lateral Performance Baffled sump
• Alcatek ECU with anti lag and launch control (Lead, dongle and software supplied)
• 3 bar MAP sensor
• 3 port boost solenoid
• AIT sensor
• Hardrace engine & transmission mounts

Suspension/Brake modifications:
• BC BR coilovers with 8/6kg spring rates & camber adjustable front and rear top mounts
• Whiteline 24mm rear anti roll bar with uprated Whiteline drop links
• K Sport front 356mm 8 pot brake kit with EBC Bluestuff NDX pads
• Rear EBC Bluestuff NDX pads

Wheel/Tire modifications:
• Rota G-Force 18x9" e.t. 35 wheels with 255/35/18 Nankang Sportnex NS-2R tyres

Interior modifications:
• Recaro Sport front seats
• Defi BF white oil pressure, oil temperature & turbo boost gauges
• KS3 Knock Analyser
• Kenwood motorised screen headunit.
• Cat1 alarm and tracker fitted.

Exterior modifications:
• JM Carbon carbon fibre front STI style lip
• Black headlight mod with an air intake trumpet moulded into the driver’s side headlight
• 4300K HID kit
• Aftermarket rear spoiler
• Kakumei rear bumper spats
• Rolled and pulled wheel arches
• Aerocatch bonnet catches



Proposed upgrades, final spec undecided as of now:
• 2.35 engine with ported heads, cams, valvetrain etc..
• Syvecs ECU
• Rotated kit & turbo
• Upgraded fuel system
• Larger Intercooler
• Cosworth inlet manifold

Will update once the final spec has been decided!

It was that book that inspired me to get a 1380cc conversion on my Metro Turbo.

Not the greatest base car to start with, but it was my first car, heavily modded, never looked back.

It was quick with a thirst for oil, and an unsettling handling trait of the old hydrogas suspension was that entering a bend to quickly could setup a pendulum motion of rocking from two wheels on the left to two on the right - scary.
