Cool Gaining interest-Prodrive Alcon brake kit

PROVISIONALLY SOLD

I'm sure you guys know what this kit is like, but i have no need for such a good set of brakes.

I won't be needing any 4 pots in p/x, as i have some already sorted out.

You'll see from these next two pics, there is NO LIP whatsoever!!

Pads are near enough brand new as you see...

£750ono + postage

These will fit all classics, bugeyes, blobeyes, but not hawkeyes or hatchbacks, as the PCD is different on them.

17's are a minimum too.

750 isn't too far off the mark..................... after all these are 1550 New.

TBH 700 is a good price to get them for considering the ARE AS GOOD AS AP's (very similar sized Caliper pots to AP as well).

How old are they and how many miles have they done?
Could you post some pics once off the car?
AFAIK WRX hawkeyes have the same offset as classics so they will fit, won't they?

Yes i'll be posting more pics once off the car, but mileage is unknown, though by the looks of the discs and pad thickness....it's only 1-2k.

WRX hawkeyes have a different PCD...namely 114.3, whereas these brakes and earlier scoobs have a 100 PCD. You could of course have the discs drilled to suit. Offset makes no difference. Thats only for clearance between caliper and wheel.

Only the STI's 05+ have the different PCD. These will fit all WRX's and up to 04 STI's

I've got some on my car, awesome stuff.

The PCD is for the wheel only and AFAIK the bolt hole for the calipers are the same for all the cars. The Subaru 4 pots will bolt to the two pot cars and the Brembos will fit to the classics.
Thanks,
Paul.

Yes but it will effect the ability to fit the discs will it not?

Yes you're correct but you can get the discs drilled to suit the PCD without much issue. If you go for the Godspeed two piece disc then I'm sure Ian could provide the bell to suit so it's just a case of disc replacement after that. Having said that you'd be replacing Brembos so it's probably not worth the trouble unless you like the look of the Alcons.
