adam a mate of mine has a perfect shell if thats of any use! its white with checker graphics! would be a shame to see what sound slike a nice car go to the scrapyard!!!

 

Thanks mate, ive had a post up for weeks on here looking for shells, not found anything good so far. Transplanting is a pain in the.. as well. Ive decided to break her, it'll be a lot easier than the other option.

 

have you got the gearbox and if so what is the code on it pl. If thats not a match for my car have you got the rear diff as well plz

Yep gearbox available, erm i'll check the code but it is standard OEM supply, the slightly later gearbox. Diff is matching as all standard.

Yep still there, can you indicate the exact bit your after pal.

 

all i know mate is my wipers are hitting top and bottom,its bloody enoying so i thought if i replaced the whole mechanism apart from the motor then i would have cured the problem,so basically the whole part,going from the motor to the wipers.

Right folks I will try and get some recent pics up shortly and tomorrow in the daylight. Will start taking parts off tomorrow and some will be available. I really need to get the engine sold before I can sell off other parts that the engine needs to crank and run. The engine is solid doesn't burn oil, or smoke, really is a peach. I'm negotiable on nearly all prices so don't be afraid to ask me.

Compression test or inspection welcome and encouraged before purchasing the engine., I'd be doing the same.

Hey folks, please see the attached link to the photobucket album. I took a few pictures with the iphone, not the best in poor light, i suppose it is December. Photos uploading now so you may need to refresh periodically.

I managed to get the car prepped for stripping today and a few bits that were easy were removed. I intend to break the back of it next weekend and i will then arrange to send parts out. Would be doing some tomorrow but this now is out of the question.. Looks like its going to be the last weekend before christmas then LOL.

Please bare with me on this, also try to use the email instead of the PM system as the amount of warnings i had from the sys.admin about the pm system being full was ludicrous.
