I am upgrading from a rear cage to a full cage for the upcoming season and therefore have available for sale my OMP rear bolt-in roll cage.
The cage comes with door bars but i never used them.
This has been in the car since April 08 and thankfully never required to be used!!!
I bought it new and it was supplied in unpainted mild steel. I left it like this and fitted it to the car. It was my intention to have it powder coated before the new season but i decided to upgrade cages instead. It would certainly benefit from powdercoating prior to fitting as it'll look a lot tidier.
The fitting is quite simple but will require welding of plates to the rear strut towers and the door sills behind the drivers seat. The plates are readily available from the likes of Demon Tweeks and YB Racing.
I paid over £300 for the cage but am willing to accept £170 for it. Due to the size of it collection would be preferred (i'm in Aberdeen) but it may be possible for me to arrange delivery at your cost.
I don't have any close up pics of the cage in situ at the moment but the cage can bee seen in this picture.

I'll try to get some fitted pics of it over the weekend.
Thanks
James

But the strut tops on the saloon are quite high up (near the parcel shelf type bit)... looking at the picture you posted, it goes quite lower down on the wagon.
Will be intrested in seeing some fitted pictures.

Jamz,
The strut tops are identical. The cage is universal fitment between the Wagon and Saloon. The Coupe is different however.
The cage doesn't actually fit the top of the strut tower,it's between half and 3/4's of the way up.
I'll get some pics taken soon hopefully and post them up.

Jamz,
I'm sorry, i haven't actually managed to get pics over the weekend as time ran out and i needed to get down to Edinburgh for the rugby.
Also, over the weekend a local chap has told he will 100% take it and is paying me today.
I do apologise that i wasn't able to get the pics up before then for you to decide if you wanted or not.
Thanks for your interest anyway.
