I have a short Engine from a 2001 Impreza P1, the engine has only covered 28,000 miles.

Heres the catch, I was driving home the other day and the I got a funny brrrrrr noise from the engine, I was only traveling at 30 mph when the noise started. I stopped the engine straight away, then started it again and the noise was there but only when revving the engine above 3,000 rpm. Rather than taking any risks I stopped the car and got the RAC to recover it. We removed the engine and then the sump and there is some evidence of metal swarf in there. This is how the block sits at the mo. I am looking at selling the block in its current state as I have a spare block that I am going to fit purley to get the car back on the road ASAP!
