Ford Torino GT 5.0 V8
Ford Torino GT 5.0L
For sale: 1968 Ford Torino GT Fastback 5.0L V8 (302ci) 2 Barrell carb. (210hp, 300ft/lb)
Green candy metalflake paint, gold velour interior.
Power steering, 4 speed manual, 15" chrome Crager wheels with Cooper Cobra GT white letter radials
(less than 4K miles ago+ one rear brand new) Custom twin exhaust sounds f_cking awesome.
MOT'd till May 2007, tax exempt, classic insurance (me 33, £200 fully comp unlimited miles). 98500 miles. Toad A101 alarm and immobiliser, Pioneer RDS radio cassette hidden in glove box, original am in dash. Original owners manual. Adjustable gas shocks (not low rider), huge boot. green tinted windows.
History me in 2005/06:
Alarm £150, new tyres £340 + £84 for new rear last week, new power steering hose, new battery, engine tune up, new wipers, stereo and speakers, correct dash top off ebay usa £200. oil and filter changed.
Previously:
MOT's showing mileage as 93379 in 1991 (i bought car at 94400), Brakes (shoes, lines etc) overhauled in 2004 with receipts, £150 of engine/ignition service parts in 2004
Bad bits:
Interior courtesy light faulty, drivers door courtesy light switch faulty, needs clock for 4th hole in dash (£40 on ebay) A couple of window rubbers are a bit tired as is some of the chrome. Center consoles velour a bit tired also but could be reverted back to original easily even correct cubby hole lid under velour. Original black door cards are behind gold with original super touring badges intact. Roof lining at back is coming unstuck but i'll try and sort this.
I bought the car on a whim when someone wrote off my Impreza in March 05. I've loved every minute of ownership of this car, it's been the most reliable car i've owned and even returns up to 23 mpg if you take it easy. Every journey seems special in this and gets lots of admiring looks and comments wherever I go.
I will be gutted to see it go but I can't afford two cars any more. The car isn't a concourse show car but is in very good condition for a 38 year old. I will be happy to answer any questions via phone or email (I can PM my details).
£5500 ono
