Default Audi A4 2.8ltr 30v Quattro (1997)

Top of the range 1997 P reg Audi 2.8ltr 30v quattro up for sale.

It has the following features:

2.8 V6 powerplant (30 valve engine, uses 24 normally and then over 5000rpm opens another valve per cylinder!) Sounds ace.
EVERY SERVICE STAMP, including the 106,000 mile service done early!
On-board trip computer
Electric heated mirrors
Electric windows all round
Electric tilt and slide sunroof
Digital climate control
Black unmarked sports interior
3 spoke Audi sports steering wheel
Silver inserts on dash - much better than the fake wood!
Tape deck stereo and Audi CD multichanger in boot
16" alloys and good tyres
Plenty of MOT left and it didn't even get one advisory when MOT'd in January!!
Tax'd till the end of July.

Just had new brake pads and discs on the rear.

New Audi A4 fitments mats fitted all round.

Cambelt and tensioners changed at 80k miles so won't need doing for another 60k miles.

Anyone who knows AUDI knows that 100,000 is only just run in, these 2.8 quattro's are lovely cars and this one is no exception.
Suprisingly economical given the V6 lump. On a run it's easy to achieve 35+ mpg, or around town 28+ mpg. I went on a 150 mile round trip to the seaside at the weekend and managed 38mpg. It's also a very nippy car when you want it to be with the standard performance times being 0-60mph in 7.1 secs, and then onto a top speed of 148mph.

With 4 doors, 5 seats, a huge boot, plenty of electronic gadgets and a fantastic engine, this really would make a great all round family car.

This car has the benefit of a full service history and has even had the 106,000 mile service done early for peace of mind!

This car is quick, safe, never misses a beat and for the money you wont find better!

The only bad points about the car that I can think of are a very small mark on the underside of the rear bumper, a tiny little dent on the drivers side rear door (£30 at most for dentmaster to remove), o/s front towing eye is a little loose (could be replaced for about £10 at Audi or a couple of quid from a scrappy if it bothered you), and a few stone chips on the front.

I only recently bought the car, but my circumstances have now changed meaning I no longer need such a large family car.

£2950, REDUCED TO £2300 if picked up by the weekend

Thought someone would have snapped this up. It's a lot of car for very little money.

Reduced to £2300 as I need a quick sale, otherwise I'll miss out on a car I have my eye on
