I am in the process of conversion.
The bnnet I bought was cheap becasue it was steel and lightly damaged (scratches and small dents) but brand new. It is now being made perfect and primered. I have bought the headlights and they are just waiting to be fitted. The grille is in the post to me at the moment.
The guy who supplied me with the lights and bonnet is currently trying to get me some vents and a scoop. I thought about buying the 22B style vents that MRT sell but they are a bit more than I was willing to spend.
I am also having a speacial duct made up to mate the intercooler to the scoop. I have heard that this is almost unecessary as the overlap between old intercooler position and new scoop position is quite significant. I will let you know. I ask the guy making up the duct to keep the mould as it woyuld appear that it might be a useful product.
Good luck all!

It is the same one from the sti 2 but at the moment I may be buying a new car which means the current one may need to be sold as standard. I fthat is the case then I will be selling new shape bonnet, grille and headlights.
Hello,
Umm... anyone have any clue on how much a hood would cost to ship overseas? We here in the US didn't have any cars with scoops with the old body style. Since I'll be adding a turbo soon, I was just planning on cutting the hood for an intercooler. But if it's not horrendously expensive to ship a hood, maybe I'll do that.
Lemme know, and if you can, do so via e-mail to monster_impreza@hotmail.com. Thanks!
