Do you have any pictures of the RAM mount ?

I've just got the same GPS receiver for my iPAQ and coupled with TrafCam and TomTom Naviagator its the biz.

Try this link its the R variant

http://www.ram-mount.com/ramcat/ramcatalogmarine20021.pdf

or

http://www.globalpositioningsystems.co.uk/accessories.php?product_id=245&category_id=12

It the same as the dash mount but with a bloody great big suction cup instead of the dash mount.

So would it attach to the Scooby windscreen or does it need to be attached aswell. The pictures don't show it with a very long neck from suction cup to mount.

It attaches to the windscreen quite happily and the IPAQ ends up at the left hand side of the dash console, between the centre dash box and the main gauge pod.

The neck is about 4 inches or so long and has an adjustable pivot on each end which can then be locked. The pivot at the IPAQ end can be moved to either be attached top right, top left or centre depending on where you want it.

The holder will take the IPAQ with any of the current sleeves from the supplied protector to the PCMCIA sleeve.

So what do you think of your new Brodit mount ?

Which cradle did you go for active or passive ?
